Dr. Johanna Tan

I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. I spent my undergrad years at University of California Davis where I received my degree in Biological Sciences and obtained my doctorate of dental surgery at University of California, San Francisco. I then proceeded to complete my residency in pediatric dentistry at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, New York.

Growing up, I have always worked with kids in different capacities. My experiences as a camp counselor, coach, teacher, and now provider have taught me ways of communicating effectively in a fun and educational manner with children from all backgrounds. I hope to bring these skills I’ve honed to ensure the best possible care for your children here at Just Kids!

I spend a decent amount of my free time watching sports and cheering on our Bay Area teams. With all of my other free time, I enjoy spending it with my friends and family, baking, cooking, photography, eating, trying new things, and traveling.
