Hi! My name is Dr. Remya Niranjan
I am overjoyed to be a part of the Pediatric Dentistry of Tracy team!
I completed my bachelor’s degree in dental surgery in 2004 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Mysore, India. I immigrated to the U.S in 2005 and spent the next three years participating in various voluntary initiatives to educate school children about the importance of dental hygiene.
I entered the International Dentist Program at UCSF in the fall of 2009 and graduated in the summer of 2011. Upon graduation, I worked in various federally qualified dental clinics in the central valley of California. While working, I found my calling in treating pediatric patients in underserved communities. I pursued my dream, and completed my pediatric specialty training at the University of California, San Francisco, with an additional Master of Science (MS) in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.
My goal is to make my patients feel at ease and to give them a positive, and memorable dental experience. My favorite part about being a pediatric dentist is making everlasting relationships with young children and having a positive impact on their lives.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids. I like cooking, doing yoga, and traveling to various places around the globe.
I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
