I’ve been truly blessed throughout my 35-year career in dentistry. It’s been an incredible journey, filled with meaningful relationships and memorable moments. I’ve been honored by the trust parents place in us to care for their little ones, and it’s been a joy to watch those children grow up — and even more touching when they return years later with children of their own.
I’m a third-generation native Californian and grew up in the once-sleepy town of Los Angeles. After graduating from UCLA, I headed across the country to earn my dental degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. I then returned to L.A. for a hospital dentistry residency at a major trauma center, followed by a second residency in pediatric dentistry — where I truly found my calling.
Over the years, I’ve served on the hospital staffs of Children’s Hospital Oakland, Kaiser Hospitals in Hayward and Fremont, and Washington Hospital in Fremont.
In addition to clinical work, I’ve remained active in organized dentistry. I’ve had the privilege of serving as President of the Southern Alameda County Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. I currently serve as Vice President of the American College of Dentists, a national honor society for the profession. I also completed leadership training at the Kellogg School of Graduate Management in Chicago.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy gardening, musical theatre, fine dining, trap shooting, hiking, and reading — all of which help bring balance and joy to my life.
